Privacy Policy
FitMaxx is operated by Mahmoud Ashraf in Egypt. This policy explains what information FitMaxx processes, why it is needed, and the choices available to you. Questions can be sent to support@fitmaxxx.com.
Information we process
- Account information, including your name, email address, and authentication identifiers supplied by Apple, Google, or Firebase.
- Training information you choose to save, such as routines, exercises, sets, repetitions, weight, workout history, and body measurements.
- Progress photos you choose to capture or import, together with photo metadata such as capture date, pose, dimensions, and backup status. Progress photos are stored in private, account-scoped storage so they can be synchronized across your devices.
- Voice audio you intentionally record for transcription. FitMaxx uses transient processing of this audio in memory to produce a reviewable training draft. FitMaxx does not persist or log raw audio. During authorized internal testing, FitMaxx may retain an encrypted final transcript and structured draft for up to 14 days so the team can investigate voice-processing failures.
- Subscription information supplied by Apple and RevenueCat, including product, entitlement, renewal, and expiration status. FitMaxx never receives your full payment-card details.
- Device, push-notification, request, and privacy-safe operational data needed to secure, synchronize, and troubleshoot the service.
- Analytics and attribution information, including app launches, screens viewed, feature interactions, workout and subscription events, install and device identifiers, App Tracking Transparency status, and promotion or deep-link attribution information. If you allow tracking, this may include Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA).
How information is used
We use information to authenticate your account, synchronize your training, interpret voice logs, show progress, deliver requested notifications, manage Pro access, prevent abuse, support users, and maintain the reliability and security of FitMaxx. We also use analytics to understand feature usage and attribution data to measure which FitMaxx promotions lead to installs and subscriptions.
Analytics, attribution, and tracking choices
FitMaxx uses Layers to measure app usage, subscription conversions, and the effectiveness of FitMaxx promotions. Analytics events may be associated with your FitMaxx account and device or install identifiers. Layers may process advertising or campaign identifiers to attribute an install or subscription to a promotion.
On supported Apple devices, FitMaxx asks for permission before using data for tracking as defined by Apple. If you allow tracking, FitMaxx may provide IDFA and related app-interaction and purchase events for advertising measurement. If you decline, IDFA is not collected for this purpose. You can change this permission at any time in the Tracking section of your device's Privacy & Security settings. FitMaxx does not display third-party advertising.
Progress photo storage and deletion
Progress photos are optional. Selected images are normalized on your device, stored in protected local storage, and uploaded over an encrypted connection to private cloud storage for backup and sync. They are not public and are not used for advertising or analytics. Deleting a progress photo removes its cloud copy, associated server metadata, and the local cached copy. Deleting your FitMaxx account also deletes its progress photos.
Voice processing and retention
Audio is sent securely through the FitMaxx service to a transcription provider. In-memory audio is discarded when the session finishes, and raw audio is never stored by FitMaxx. During authorized internal testing, the final transcript and structured proposal may be encrypted before storage and retained for 14 days solely to investigate failures. Access is limited to authorized operators, is audited, and decryption occurs locally. Account deletion removes these diagnostics. Limited non-content operational metadata—such as timing, byte counts, status, and safe error codes—may be retained for up to 30 days. A provider may retain data under its own abuse-monitoring and legal obligations.
Service providers
FitMaxx relies on carefully selected providers to operate the service, including Apple, Google and Firebase, Cloudflare, Neon, OpenAI, RevenueCat, and Layers. They process information for the relevant service function—including authentication, storage, transcription, subscriptions, analytics, and attribution—under their applicable terms and privacy commitments.
Sharing and sale
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers needed to operate FitMaxx, when you direct us to, to protect users and the service, or when legally required.
Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your FitMaxx information from the app when available or by contacting support@fitmaxxx.com. Subscription cancellation is handled through your Apple account. Deleting FitMaxx does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.
When you delete a FitMaxx account in the app, access to that account is permanently closed, provider access is disconnected, and local account data is removed from the device. The closed account's server records, including associated training, body, and subscription records, are retained indefinitely and cannot be restored to a future account. Signing in again creates a new, empty FitMaxx account.
Security and international processing
We use encryption in transit, restricted service credentials, environment separation, and access controls appropriate to the information processed. No system can guarantee absolute security. Providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to applicable safeguards.
Children
FitMaxx is not directed to children under 13. If local law requires a higher minimum age to use an online service without parental consent, that higher age applies.
Website privacy
The public FitMaxx website does not include a contact form, advertising tracker, analytics service, or nonessential cookie. If this changes, this policy will be updated before those tools are enabled.
Changes
We may update this policy as FitMaxx evolves. The effective date above will change when a revision is published. Material changes will be communicated through the app or website when appropriate.
